Based in Sri Lanka, Marguerite Richards is an American writer and book editor, focusing on memoir and diverse voices. She holds degrees in literature and translation, has taught in France and Chile, and fell in love with magazine publishing in New York. Her articles and essays have been published in various places, but she has found her calling with books. Her first one, The Ordinary Chaos of Being Human, was published by Penguin RH in 2019.
