Malinda Seneviratne is a freelance journalist, poet and translator. He has published seven
collections of poetry. Five of his poetry collections were shortlisted for the Gratiaen Award, and
he received the award for Edges (2013). He also won the H A I Goonetileka Prize for Literary
Translations awarded by the Gratiaen Trust (2012 and 2020) for his translation of Simon
Navagaththegama’s Sansaraaranyaye Dadayakkaraya (The Hunter in the Wilderness of
Sansara) and Mahinda Prasad Masiumbula’s Senkottan (The Indelible)
